Glanzlichter is more than an international nature photography competition. It brings together people who share a passion for nature and photography, creating opportunities for inspiration, exchange and personal connections.

The Glanzlichter Awards Ceremony celebrates the outstanding photographs and gives them the stage they deserve. At the same time, it honors the photographers behind the images and the stories they tell.

That’s why we warmly invite all awarded photographers to join us for the Glanzlichter Awards Ceremony in Fürstenfeldbruck.

As part of the International Nature Photography Days in Fürstenfeldbruck , guests are invited to a special evening celebrating the art of nature photography in the historic setting of Fürstenfeld Abbey. The Glanzlichter winners will be honored, the award-winning images will be presented to the public for the first time, both in the exhibition and on the main stage, and the stories behind some of the most remarkable photographs will be brought to life.

Above all, the awards ceremony is an opportunity to meet the people behind the images: photographers from around the world, each with their own unique perspective and a shared passion for nature photography.

Fürstenfeldbruck traditionally marks the beginning of the Glanzlichter exhibition tour. As part of the International Nature Photography Days, the exhibition is presented and officially opened at House 10 on the historic grounds of Fürstenfeld Abbey.

For the award-winning photographers, it is a truly special moment: for the first time, they can experience their photographs as part of the Glanzlichter exhibition, together with fellow winners and in front of an audience of passionate nature photography enthusiasts.

This marks the beginning of a long journey for the exhibition. Over the following years, the Glanzlichter exhibition will travel to more than 20 venues across Germany, bringing the winning images to audiences in many different places.

The highlight of the evening is the grand awards ceremony at Veranstaltungsforum Fürstenfeld. In a captivating atmosphere, the award-winning photographs are presented on a spectacular screen on the main stage, bringing them together for the first time as part of the Glanzlichter celebration.

The evening begins with an inspiring short presentation, followed by the awards ceremony, during which the individual categories are celebrated one by one. The winners are honored, and their awards are personally presented by the organizers and sponsors. For many photographers, seeing their own photograph displayed on the big screen for the first time is a truly special moment — one they can share with family, friends, fellow photographers and the audience.

In an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, guests can enjoy a menu that brings a fresh interpretation to traditional German cuisine, with new culinary surprises created especially for the occasion each year.
